APP of the 9th Brazilian Congress of Management of the Public Prosecution Service
"Public Prosecution Service and Integrity: Ethical Governance, Criminal Persecution and Human Rights." This is the theme of the 9th Brazilian Congress of Public Prosecution Service, whose registration is open until August 20. The event, promoted by the National Council of the Public Prosecution Service (CNMP), takes place annually since 2010 and brings together hundreds of members and servers. This year, the meeting will be held on September 13 and 14, at the Corporate School of the Federal Court of Audit (Serzedello Corrêa Institute), in Brasília/DF.
Registration is limited to 500 vacancies, intended for members and servants of the Public Prosecution Service (MP) and representatives of invited public entities. The opening ceremony of Congress on the 13th will be at 9 am. At the time, the winning projects of the CNMP 2018 Award will be awarded. Then, lectures and courses will be taught in the afternoon until the morning of the next day.
The theme of the 9th Brazilian Congress of MP Management, oriented to society, seeks to generate reflections within the Public Prosecution Service on the importance of public integrity as the basis for a solid and straight action. The subject meets the current political scenario in which the country is. With the arrival of elections, act based on ethical values shared by society and principles and norms that prioritize public and collective interests is the precepts of the MP's performance.
In this sense, lectures will reflect principles aligned with public integrity, such as ethical governance in conducting public thing, criminal prosecution as a way of ensuring human dignity and the guarantee of human rights for all and all.
Aware of the importance of the theme, the Council, in June this year, instituted a working group with the objective of preparing a proposal for the CNMP Integrity Program, as well as establishing guidelines for the implementation of programs similar to it in the Public Prosecution Service units.
In the Congress program, highlighting the lecture of Carlos Sebastião Andriani, PhD in Management and Master in Education Sciences and Human Values. PhD in Management from the University Institute of Lisbon, Andriani is the author of numerous books and has already given international lectures. The president of the CNMP and Attorney General of the Republic, Raquel Dodge, gives the magna lecture “Integrity, Criminal Persecution and Human Rights.”
